DELTA (Digital Empowering Learning Tools for Africa)
Is an innovative initiative designed to bridge the digital skills gap and enhance Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Ethiopia. The project focuses on developing high-quality digital learning tools and training methodologies tailored to the needs of the modern Ethiopian job market. By integrating technology with leadership and management training, DELTA aims to foster a more resilient and skilled workforce capable of driving economic development and innovation.
For the last 15 years the biggest challenge faced by Ethiopia has been to provide its population with an increasing number of affordable and decent homes. The project aims to increase the capacity of the VET sector to provide the Ethiopian labour market with professionals who are not only able to carry out the technical parts of the job, but also to actively collaborate in the development of the private construction sector through broader digital, entrepreneurial and management skills.

- Improving skills, resources, and capabilities of VET teachers and trainers within the partner organisation and more generally of VET institutions and organizations in Ethiopia
- Promoting partnerships between businesses, industries and public institutions
- Implementing a Digital Training Ecosystem that will provide young people with new skills and expertise
